The Treatment Advocacy Center is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors. The TreatmentAdvocacy Center does not share or sell the names and mailing addresses of our supporters with other organizations.

Take Action

If you choose to “Take Action” or make a donation, we will send you updates on this and other important campaigns by email.
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from our email list, you may do so by following the unsubscribe link contained on each email.
In certain cases, we may enable you to send individual e-mails to the legislators, and other targets as well as Letters-to-the-Editor to various news publications, through our website.
These messages are sent in your name, with your e-mail address as the return address and your full name and contact information is provided as part of the submission.
These messages will only be sent out under your name as you approve them on an individual basis using our email tool. You are solely responsible for the specific message(s) you send using our email tool.

Name and address information provided by you and transmitted through us to third party recipients through letters, action alerts, petitions, etc. will be shared only with the intended recipient (e.g. Members of Congress, State Legislators, press, etc.).

Donations

If you choose to donate to our organization,  standard credit card information (name, card type, card number, expiration date, etc.) is collected and a record kept of your financial transaction. This allows us to process, fulfill, and acknowledge your order or donation. Secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.

Data Use

Information appearing on the Treatment Advocacy Center website is copyrighted material of the Treatment Advocacy Center unless otherwise noted. Individuals who wish to make use of our content should request permission by emailing info@treatmentadvocacycenter.org and specifically describing how the content will be used. Reasonable requests will be honored. Site managers may link to our homepages without requesting permission as long as our page appears as an independent source (i.e., not in frames).
